5storieshigh.com was constructed for artists who interpret Fashion. It consist of Hairdressers, Models, Photographers, Make-up Artists (MUA) and Stylists. Artist will be able to express their passion and culture of their industry through still photos and videos. Artist can grow and share their portfolios, as well as post past, present and, upcoming projects.

5-The Five represents the Artistic Team of individuals who we work with daily. They are the ones we collaborate and mesh ideas with to create that one strong look and perfect image. In my industry, hairdressing, you find tons of young talent and motivation. Unfortunately hairdressers do not have photos of their work. So I wanted to address that issue and push hairdressers to setup their own photo-shoots, as well as to work with the 5 as a team to achieve their own looks and develop their own style.

There is nothing better than looking at a 7 page fashion spread and seeing the ideas and progression from the first photo to the last. The main elements missing are the concepts and the written story behind the shoot or particular project. They never post the thoughts of the Artist. The only thing you see are the credits in the bottom corner. We are pushing the Artists on this site to write and video their stories of their projects and talk about how they are contributing to their industry, and how there industry is influencing fashion. These 5 unique stories are crucial to creating a successful photo-shoot to grow your portfolio.
